Thalian Association Community Theatre will hold auditions for the play, Cry Wolf, Tuesday August 10 from 5- 8 pm. Auditions will be held at the Community Arts Center, 120 S. 2nd Street in downtown Wilmington. Cry Wolf will be directed by Chandler Davis. The production will run for live performances September 17 through September 26 with streaming options also available.
Audition participants need to prepare to read from a provided script in small groups. Audition sides and forms will be available August 1 at the front desk of the Community Arts Center. Those wishing to audition may call 910-251-1788 to set up an audition group time. All roles are available. TACT’s artistic director encourages youth with all levels of experience to audition. All are welcome! Audition forms will be available on Thalian.org or at the front desk of the CAC beginning August 1. Please do not enter the building until it is your time to audition.
After 50 years, the wolves have returned to the forest. The inhabitants of the nearby village are in an uproar—their survival depends on their flock of sheep, the wolves’ favorite food! Join a cast of characters that includes a boy named Peter, Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Little Pigs and a rebel sheep named Snowflake as they try to outwit that biggest villain of them all, the Big Bad Wolf, in this dramatic mash-up of bedtime favorites.
