THALIAN ASSOCIATION COMMUNITY THEATRE ANNOUNCES VIKING RIVER CRUISE RAFFLE
Sponsored by Viking Cruises and AAA Travel Oleander
 
WILMINGTON, NC –Thalian Association Community Theatre (TACT) announces a raffle to win a luxury Viking River Cruise for two valued at $7298.00. The winner will have their choice of an eight-day Rhine Getaway or Danube Waltz cruise. Two thousand raffle tickets will be sold for $20 or six for $100 with all proceeds to support TACT Youth Theatre and Main Stage Thalian Hall productions. Tickets will be available March 5 – August 30, 2018 or until sold out.                    
 
The Viking River Cruise Raffle is made possible by Viking Cruises and AAA Travel Oleander as part of the Viking Cultural Exchange Program, an initiative to support the arts and make a difference in communities nationwide. AAA Travel Oleander representatives will sell tickets at various TACT productions during the spring and summer including: Disney’s Tarzan at the HBHUSO/Community Arts Center, Caine Mutiny Court-Martial on the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA, and Steel Magnolias at the Erin E. McNeill Center at Cape Fear Academy. Raffle tickets will also be sold at the 23rd annual Orange Street ArtsFest Memorial Day Weekend, the AAA Travel Oleander office at Hanover Center, and TACT office in the Community Arts Center.
 
The prize package includes:
 
·         Choice of Rhine Getaway or Danube Waltz River Cruise for two
·         Eight-day cruise with river view stateroom
·         Six guided tours with audio headset

Established in 1788, Thalian Association Community Theatre is a non-profit, membership organization dedicated to enhancing the Cape Fear region through live community theatre and arts education. Thalian Association Community
Theatre produces five major productions annually on the Main Stage at historic Thalian Hall and professionally manages the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center for the City of Wilmington. The youth theatre program offers training and performance opportunities for children age seven through high school seniors. In 2007, Thalian Association Community Theatre was designated North Carolina’s Official Community Theater by the state legislature.
