Thalian Association Community Theatre will hold auditions for the holiday show of their Main Stage season, Miracle on 34th Street, Monday October 5, and Tuesday October 6 at 7 pm. Auditions will be held at the Community Arts Center, 120 S. 2nd Street in downtown Wilmington. The production, directed by Kendra Goehring and choreographed by Lilly Goddard, runs December 11 through December 20 at Historic Thalian Hall.
Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre style song to sing along with the sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.

Callbacks will be Wednesday October 7 at the Community Arts Center. Please be prepared to read from the provided script, sing from the show, and attend a dance call. Please arrive in clothing and footwear suited for dancing.
Actors of all races and ethnicities are welcome and encouraged to audition for our entire season! All roles are available.
Synopsis:
A holiday classic from the writer of the musical theatre classic, The Music Man!, and based on the movie of the same name, Miracle on 34th Street features a book and score by none other than Meredith Willson.
Doris Walker doesn’t want her six-year-old Susan’s head filled with romantic notions. Their neighbor, Fred Gailey, tries to woo Doris by charming Susan and taking her to see Santa Claus at Macy’s, where Doris works. Doris is not impressed, but when it turns out that Macy’s Santa may, in fact, be the real Kris Kringle, a wave of love spreads across New York City that melts even the most cynical hearts.
