Susan Habas has joined the Thalian Association as Managing Director. She is a native Wilmingtonian who brings a successful retail management, sales and marketing background to association operations.

She is known for her dramatic impact on business growth, customer loyalty and brand recognition during a long retail management career with Hilda Godwin’s and The Julia. In addition to managing daily business operations she was in charge of special events and promotions. She produced a weekly fashion show at the Pilot House in historic downtown Wilmington for 15 years and hosted many non- profit events that raised thousands of dollars throughout her career. The future holds promise of well planned, fun and beneficial Thalian Association events.

As an account executive with her most recent employer, Valpak, Susan was ranked one of the top twelve sales people in the South. She combines innovative business techniques with traditional community outreach and nets results in any industry.

Susan looks forward to increasing area involvement with the Thalian Association – the Official Community Theater of North Carolina.

She enjoys life in Wilmington with her husband, Michael, and two dogs, Chaz (Havanese) and Minnie (Pomeranian).
